HOW IT WORKS

SPRAY POLYURETHANE
APPLICATION PROCESS

Spray-applied polyurethane is an ideal solution for both new construction and existing buildings—sealing and insulating with minimal preparation.

PREPARATION

Surfaces must be clean and dry for proper adhesion.

New galvanized metal with an oil film is hot-water washed and degreased.

Metal round roofs are primed before application.

Areas with corrosion are treated with a rust-inhibiting primer.

SPECIAL APPLICATION

Re-insulating buildings with existing foil-faced fiberglass or board stock insulation is straightforward -polyurethane adheres securely to these surfaces, significantly improving efficiency and comfort.

In certain cases, wall cavities can be filled with cavity-fill polyurethane to insulate and seal hard-to-reach areas.

PERMANENT PROTECTION

Once applied, spray polyurethane becomes an integral part of the structure—providing lasting insulation and sealing against the elements, inside and out.
